Hello everyone,

 

German UX (User Experience) designer here, with a "Tarot shadow side" now becoming the light side because my daytime job has been taken over by AI.

 

2 Years ago, after 25 years in the international media industry, I was at my career peak, creating communication strategies, consulting clients on multiplatform interactive design so fast, efficiently and creative that young colleges often saw the work as "mysteriously good". That felt good but never truly sank in. And then in the span of only 2 years, my work was taken over by Product Owners using AI and I am out of a job.

 

And now I wonder if I can continue my career with doing mysteriously good Tarot readings. 

 

Allthough, I was not mysterious, just a truth-telling empath with too much creative energy for my own good, telling product owners the truth about the effectiveness of their brand, they often didn't want to hear.  

 

I wonder if I could use my truth-telling abilities in the service of people who actually *want* to know the truth. I'd like to sell my Tarot reading services the way I sold my User Experience services. But compared to that 25 year UX career I feel like an imposter in the Tarot world. Lots of hopes and fears here. 

 

Anyway, rambling. Hope I can give free readings and hone my skills.

Even in the Tarot and Astrology space. A few weeks ago I read tarot for a young lady who mentioned a reading she recently got from ChatGPT. [facepalm]

Good thing I practice Stoicism or I might have had a screaming fit. Something I try to avoid in front of clients.

AI is all over the astrology space as well. it's doing horoscopes.

 

Possibly the Matrix movie was an accurate prediction of our Brave New AI world.

Well, I wasn't replaced by AI but I have a smidgen of German blood so I can welcome you and feel like I fit in. LOL
