Hello!

I'm so glad to be back. I joined this forum when Aeclectic Tarot shutdown in 2017 but haven't been around in a long time.

I love tarot for the art - It's lovely that I can enjoy and own 78 unique pieces of art in a single tarot deck. Art can be so expensive and difficult to display and store. But with tarot I can keep thousands of tiny art pieces on my bookshelf.  The introspective aspects of weekly self-readings are fantastic for guided meditations as well.

Sadly, I pretty much dropped all my fun & introspective hobbies/habits when covid hit in 2020. My new year's resolution for 2026 is to re-start all the hobbies & habits that brought me joy but lost interest in due to covid depression. I am finally in a mental space where I can enjoy meditation & quiet again and am so glad this forum has grown 🙂

This is a good resolution 😺. Covid messed so much up - our dogs got de-socialised and we got more isolated, now having vaccines on the list of things we can't mention to relatives and neighbours as well as diet and medicines 🤐.

@dancing_moon thank you for the warm welcome. it's been almost 10 years... but a lot of these usernames are giving me deja vu. I almost changed my username but it feels good to have some historical perspective. lol I was such a baby brat when I first started reading tarot. I've changed a lot - no longer looking for the "perfect" deck & self-readings have a different focus for me now. all good things though. hope all is well with you!

Hi, nice to meet you. My name is Elen, I'm 32 years old. I've been studying the Rider-Waite Tarot cards since 2017. I've taken breaks from studying them a few times, but now I want to dive back into this topic.

Another old-timer who remembers your name - good to see you've found your way back @TinySpark

Welcome Tiny Spark.  I remember your name from A.T. too.  I did change my name, but I think most people still know that I was "Celticnoodle" on A.T.  I joined here soon after AT closed, but I'm lately an 'on again/off again' with being here sadly. Since my hubby retired, we get busy with other things, and I also went back to work for a wee while reading in a store.  I hope to see you around in some of the forums here as I also hope to dive back into it again myself, full force! 🙂🤿
