thanks Little Fang for this lovely place, and thanks to everyone helping out.

 

I'm maenifold in England, I like cards of many sorts and am especially intrigued by the oracular possibilities of cards not intended as oracles.

it is interesting that some cards which are not classified as divination tools are used as for predictions as well, the Chinese dominoes for example, and they could be quite accrate.

Hi maenifold! Welcome to TT&M! Nice to have you with us. Actually, I've never used any cards other than Tarot for this kind of work. (I've used a pendulum and done some scrying though.) I do have a new oracle deck on the way. So, I guess I'm starting to branch out.

And Em, thank you for the pointer to Chinese dominoes, which I'd never met before. I love how much richness and structure they have, compared to to the dominoes I'm used to - I can see with all that additional information they could be interestingly divinatory.
