Ix Chel Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 52. 'I find it easier to notice factual discrepancies than underlying patterns.' Which member of the Court is most likely to say this? This is not an easy question because seeing facts and patterns, is something what the Swords court does. So in this case I will go not for the Swords court, but for the Pentacles court. I go for the Page of Pentacles.

I go for the Page of Pentacles. I'm really interested in your decision, Ix Chel[/member]. Are you disregarding the Swords because you think that they notice factual discrepancies without the conscious awareness of doing so, and wouldn't really find it necessary to comment on their thought processes, even if they did? I was going to say the King of Swords, myself. :) I think he'd be wonderful for looking over contracts and things.
Ix Chel Posted February 12, 2018 Author Posted February 12, 2018 Starlight[/member] In my view the Swords are better in seeing patterns, than the Pentacles. I also think that the Queen or King of Pentacles would also check a contract thoroughly, just like the Swords. But to me it is still a hard question; Swords and Pentacles have a lot in common.

It's funny you should say that, because I'm finding as I work my way through the questions that the Swords have really come to life for me and I'm wondering if it's because I'm a Pentacles person myself, and Swords would be the opposite? (Scorpio // Taurus)
Jewel Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 I would say the Knight of Swords. He has the sword sharpness but is still too rash to take the time to totally think through the patterns.
EmpyreanKnight Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 The Queen of Swords can be quite a tough critic, especially in her Virgo aspect.
Cobweb Posted April 5, 2018 Posted April 5, 2018 Oh, I agree that this is a difficult question. I think I don't quite understand it. As I imagine the Swords, they would be good at spotting both factual discrepancies and underlying patterns. Possibly the Knight of Wands might not be so good at spotting underlying patterns? I see him as very active, not very introspective - perhaps someone who's too busy in the moment to think about the big picture?
Thoughtful Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 Queen of Swords, she would not miss a thing in finding and looking at the factual elements. Whereas the King of Coins would see the underlying patterns.
Guest Posted April 30, 2024 Posted April 30, 2024 I think that in the Court of Swords, the Page and Queen are more likely to be exacting and single-minded in perusing data and spotting inconsistencies. When they present these to the King, he analyzes them holistically by recognizing their patterns and determining how to proceed so that these facts may be applied to their advantage.
