EmpyreanKnight Posted February 20, 2018 Posted February 20, 2018 If you were to choose a Court Card that would most accurately represent you based on your personality, interests, dislikes, etc, which one would it be? In what ways do you resemble it, and in what ways would you diverge from the archetype? Choose only one, alright? :) I'm quite curious as to which court cards our members would choose to embody them. ;)
dancing_moon Posted February 20, 2018 Posted February 20, 2018 Knight of Cups. :) I find that we have a lot in common, as I'm both emotional and intellectual, and I'm on an endless quest of perfection. We also share similar flaws. :)) How about you, EK?
Flaxen Posted February 20, 2018 Posted February 20, 2018 I think I've changed...as a child/teen I was totally Page/Knight of Cups - dreamy, sensitive, given to writing poetry, feeling things very deeply. I've grown into the Queen of Cups although I recognise elements of myself in the Queen of Pents and Queen of Swords. Still feel things deeply, interested in spiritual and psychic pursuits, vulnerable to depression. I don't have her endless compassion though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
EmpyreanKnight Posted February 20, 2018 Author Posted February 20, 2018 Knight of Cups. :) I find that we have a lot in common, as I'm both emotional and intellectual, and I'm on an endless quest of perfection. We also share similar flaws. :)) How about you, EK? Of all the court cards, the Knight of Cups is my favorite, dancing_moon. :D I believe I answer to the Knight of Pentacles tho. I'm stable, resourceful, dependable, and I prefer to do my due diligence first before enbarking on something. I like material things (;D), I read a lot on finance and investments, and I'm also very much obsessed with health and fitness - all of which are very earth-y pursuits. I hope I don't seem too slow or plodding tho. :P Also, I was born in the 1st decan of Virgo, which in the Golden Dawn system corresponds to the Knight of Pentacles (at least in the Thoth). I don't think I have the maturity, resources, and experience of a King yet, so Knight it is. :)
Jewel Posted February 20, 2018 Posted February 20, 2018 Oh this is tough. I am somewhere between the Queen of Cups and Queen of Wands LOL (my sun is Pisces a lot of pisces on my chart, my Moon is in Leo). I have a lot in common with both ladies, but in the end I am probably more Queen of Cups than anything with some Queen of Wands moments LOL. But yeah I think I lean more towards the Queen of Cups, especially in the last few years.
Audelia Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 I find I have a split personality between the Queen of Cups and the Queen of Swords ;D
Saturn Celeste Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 Queen of Swords for me. Going by my astrological signs, I would be a Queen of Cups (rising in Scorpio) and my sun sign Aquarius. But I am a Queen of Swords--I'm a total mental case! >:D I am attracted to King of Pentacles and Knight of Wands. Love me some knighthood!
Whisper Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 Queen of Swords mixed with the Knight of Cups. I am the epitome of a walking contradiction. ;D
Lantana Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 Page of Wands. Astrologically I’d be, I believe a King of Wands? But I haven’t grown into my crown just yet. Still trying to learn how to bring all that passion and creativity into the tangible.
EmpyreanKnight Posted March 3, 2018 Author Posted March 3, 2018 Queen of Swords for me. I can def see you as this, Saturn. You're so good with tech. :D
faerybraids Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 Page of Cups, though I have heard some rather unfavourable interpretations of them. (◕__◕❀) A lot of the connection I feel to it relates to studying myself and my emotions, and this feeling that I'll always in some way be a student, both in the previous respect and in terms of life, art and creativity in general. There's a sort of fresh freedom it brings, like sitting on the edge of a cliff and letting the imagination wander, just going with the flow and letting that youthful feeling of imagination wander. Sometimes I feel more connection to the Page of Swords because of the knowledge and logic connections, but it doesn't sit quite as right. (Perhaps it's just knowing some people view them exclusively as a malicious gossip? I dunno.) At my root I'm ruled by my emotions and am constantly learning to balance them, so. Page of Cups. (Interestingly enough, my Starchild Akashic's pulled the Knight of Crystals Reversed to represent me several times. I think it's pretty accurate for that deck... I don't associate myself with the determination of the suit that much, though I can appreciate the qualities this particular card shares with the aforementioned ones--the crystals in this deck are much more spiritual than I'd consider pentacles to be in most other decks.) I'm always intrigued reading about people's personal interpretations of the court cards. Even reading the snippets people have posted here I'm like o.O at some of them. But hey ho, there you go. Awesome thread topic. ( ^ ^❀)
