Celice Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 Hey everyone. I’ve been collecting tarot decks for about 12 years. I’m not sure how many decks I have but it is probably around 100, which I know either sounds really high or really low depending on how into collecting you are. For reading I usually just use my 1970s RWS but I love, love art and exploring how it can be expressed through tarot it is so fascinating comparing decks and having tiny pieces of art which is why collecting appeals to me. I try to cull my collection every once in a while otherwise I’m sure I’d have more there are so many beautiful decks out there now! So I spent a good decade around aeclectic off and on, mostly lurking but sometimes talking tarot. I really miss it and was devastated when it closed because after taking a break for a year or so I had just gotten back into tarot a few months before it closed. The last few months I have been hanging out in the Tarot Nerds Facebook group but I miss the forum set up so I’m glad to be here.
Raggydoll Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 Welcome! So glad you found us! I too miss the purple place at times but this forum really feels like my new home now, and I hope you will feel the same way in time <3
Flaxen Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 Welcome, Celice. There are lots of old ATers here. It has a similar vibe. [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hedera Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 Welcome Celice! Yes, this is the place that feels most like the old Aeclectic forum, I think. :-) It's not purple, but I do like the green flowers skin (and it's actually easier for me to read) Great to see this new forum grow and blossom!

This is a fun and friendly forum to join not to mention lots of tarot talk. Make yourself at home. ^-^
AJ-ish/Sharyn Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 welcome to a new home. sometimes things need to be shook out in the fresh air ;0
RavenOfSummer Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 Welcome, Celice! Glad you have joined us here!
DanielJUK Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 glad you found us Celice, welcome :) I tried some of the facebook groups for a while after AT but they are so hard to follow and keep track of posts (as new posts and posts with new comments move up the group constantly) and I realised I do prefer the forum format ultimately :)
Jewel Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 From one AT refugee to another ... WELCOME!!!!!! This forum feels so much like AT did when it first started out. So many wonderful people and the friendliness and openness. I do hope you will enjoy it.
EmpyreanKnight Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 Around 100 decks - that sure is a lot, Celice! Which ones do you like the best tho?
