Sex and the tarots . Does this seem enjoyable to him?

So I’ve never tried asking a sex question but I’m totally new to it with tarot’s. I asked the question of how this guy feels having sex with me or something along those lines. I pulled these cards and in this order left to right : nine of Wands reversed. Two of Wands reversed. 10 of pentacles. So at first I was like dang does he find this boring or lame? But that wouldn’t make sense because we both seem so open minded to new things and I’ve had him try a lot of new things. It was the 10 of pentacles that I liked to see though as it represents a content couple, wisdom maybe showing intellectual connection, the baby maybe seen as more than just some random sex thing but more meaningful. I can’t tell though with the other cards, holistically speaking if this is overall good or bad. Thoughts?

Interesting, I never though of asking this kind of question in a spread, but I might try that!

Nine of Wands reversed, IMO, could means to be on edge, defensive, hesitant. (Upright is more courage/persistence). Two of Wands reversed, could represent fear of unknown or lack of planning. (upright is more future planning, progress, decisions). These two are almost the same in reversed form. 10 of Pentacles is more in line with the formation of family tradition. I think this is very positive.

Personally, I don't read reversed meanings. I'm convincing myself that divination using Tarot was firstly developed with upright meanings without the reversed (that was introduced later by modern practitioners), so to me, that would be that you both shows persistence in trying new stuff, that might require courage (do not be afraid to ask new things or to share your phantasms, by example) [9 Wands] and that you are also both planning the future together, making decisions and progressing to something solid together [2 Wands]. Then, that something that you are both developing are going to be the establishment of a "tradition" or a way of life together. [10 Pentacles] That's how I would quickly interpret them.

Interesting ! I was not aware of that. My only thing is he has stated before that he is not really looking for a commitment. Oddly he doesn’t really treat our sex situation as purely some sex thing then I leave. Like he views us as friends too. But that would be interesting if two of Wanda was trying to tell me something. I do know he’s told me that he can get hooked on people quick so maybe having this sex thing going on could lead to deeper things.i mean just because he doesn’t want a relationship doesn’t mean he could stop his heart from how it feels! Anywho, so you feel 10 of pentacles isn’t really just telling me how he views me during sex but rather how he views me as a person and wanting to establish a life together?

Maybe not "to establish a life together" as for now, but I think that card means that he somehow really care for you. Maybe now is not the right time for him for commitment, but with time, if nothing too drastic happen, that might works for both of you.
