help me find a thread at AT?

on the now defunct AT tarot forum there were pages and pages to the thread "something I never noticed before" Or similar? where the cards were blown up and fine combed. I remember the Death card someone pointed out there is an arrow on the foot that points to the cave on the bank.

 

I think it is just part of a spur, but Waite put tons of symbology into his vision for the paintings and many times a cigar isn't just a cigar.

A lot of the reworked from the original have kind of smoothed over and cleaned up the cards without realizing they are taking away from the thought.

 

does anyone remember it, and can you help me find it? I know, needle in a haystack, but it was such a great thread

I still prickly about AT closing and have only been there twice since that event.

It just feels like a personal affront to me.

The search is really good now if you use keywords for a post or thread that you can remember (when AT first closed the archive search was really useless and never found what you wanted!). You can also search google for anything and add tarotfoum to the post and it will show in your browser or if you want to really pinpoint the site on google search anything you want and add :http://www.tarotforum.net/ at the end of the line. don't forget the : sometimes the in google (outside of the website) searching can be easier. I have noticed if you use google to search for something tarot related in general, AT has slipped down the search list already, sometimes not even on page one results, crazy! I so wish the posts had a date reference still, it's so annoying to try to work out how old a thread is when searching  :)

 

I do go to find stuff there as a reference and it doesn't upset me so much now. I take comfort in seeing the static old profiles and their pictures with them. But does make me realise everytime that some people I used to like seeing post has vanished from all the new places now  :-\
