VGimlet Posted May 12, 2018 Author Posted May 12, 2018 As much as I'd like to stick with the Everyday Tarot I have a bunch of my pre-orders and Kickstarter decks arriving so I need to move on to VGimlet - Game of Thrones Tarot I have not heard good things about it, but it will be a nice addition to the collection anyway. :P

I fully expect for readings it will be like the Jane Austen, Sherlock Holmes, etc type decks. When you need 78 characters, many will be hard to recognize or know And GofT has a million characters ;)

Flaxen Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Halfway through the week and I’m enjoying the Gorgon’s tarot. I like the simplicity of the images although there is still depth there and the black and white palette is striking. It’s a good deck for more reflective, introspective readings. I don't know much about the series or the book (I quit halfway through the first book when Mr. M killed my favorite character ~ I was like, "okay, I see how this is going - not for me, LOL). BUT the tarot is really well-done, IMO. I love when that happens - a deck you think isn't going to be anything turns out to be good. :)
