Pros and Cons: Enabling and De-Enabling Decks

Featured Replies

After much research (ok, Google image searches) I'm thinking of going with the Linestrider as first of the three I'm considering.  Anyone have anything to say for or against it?

I seem to recall it was very popular last time I was on AT, but has it stood the test of time? Are people still using it?

I hope people don't mind me resurrecting this thread from a year ago.

Modern Spellcaster's tarot - yay or nay? I like the boldness and vividness of the artwork (and the cards are borderless!), but I also feel like the people in the artwork appear grim and unfriendly, for lack of a better word. I'm not sure how I'll relate to it if I get it and am wondering about people's experiences with the deck?

Definitely yea! I honestly don't think that the characters in the deck look stern. In the appropriate cards, they can be light-hearted. I have had very fruitful readings with it, so it's all good.

When you do buy one, choose the set with the full-color guidebook. Also, the cardstock is rather thin as with most Llewellyn decks.

I can't speak for other people, but I use mine still. I do see it on Instagram but whether that's because it's just so photogenic and pretty or because people actually love it, hard to say. I think it's one of my more readable decks and it feels friendly and insightful. It has more depth than I expected based on the fairly simple designs.

Yes, that's the feeling I got when I actually started looking closely at it rather than being a bit 'ooh, pretty' about it  :)

I'm hopeful it will arrive today!
