Hi, I'm very new to tarot but it is something I've always been very interested in  :) I am a total newbie to the tarot world and am still learning the very basics! I look forward to getting to know everyone, and hope to get help and support as I continue to make progress in my tarot journey. Thank you all for reading!  :)

Hello tarotnovice! Welcome to TT&M! I look forward to seeing your journey, and this is a great place to get help and advice. I started learning on my own and it wasn't until I joined my first forum for tarot that I really was able to grasp a lot of stuff. So I hope this place will be someplace you can call home, where you can learn and grow and prosper!

Welcome TT&M!  I think you will find this to be a very friendly and helpful community.  We all started knowing nothing, and being confused with the copious amounts of information (and mis-information) out there, so I am glad you found TT&M.  Just pick up a deck that appeals to you and dig in.  I firmly believe that Tarot is a journey not a destination, so do not try to rush or pressure yourself.  Just enjoy the ride.

as Jewel says, we all started at a beginning, but the fun of the cards is you continue to learn as long as you live! Big subject with many side trails :)
