Star83 Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 I just wanted to talk about my experience with the knight of wands. Almost everywhere you see descriptions of this card saying the knight of wands is passionate and lusty, but only for a short period of time. This has not happened in my case. I'll give an example. 3 years ago I was curious about the attraction towards me from a man I knew. Whenever I turned to tarot asking whether he was attracted to me I got the knight of wands. I thought, oh, ok, so for the moment he had a strong sexual attraction and then moved on to something else that took his interest for the day. Perhaps this guy is attracted to a lot of women. But then a few months would pass and id do the reading again asking the same question and the same card came up. I swear, I reckon ive done this reading perhaps 20 times, and still, the same card came up!!!! I mean is that even possible?? I still cant believe it myself, but for 3 years I kept getting the same card. So, his attraction, even though it was enthusiastic and passionate, seemed to have lasted 3 years. Not just a week :). So in other words, knight of wands doesn't necessarily mean a temporary attraction. He/she could feel that way everytime he/she is around the querent.
Star83 Posted May 30, 2018 Author Posted May 30, 2018 Although another part of knight of wands I forgot to mention - is that I find him as a headache. Ive seen this written elsewhere as well. He's got such a huge ego but ive had this card come up for guys who are really into their motorbikes or cars or mechanics of some sort. They're really racy but so full on your head hurts.
Magic Waffle Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 I've always thought of the Knight of Wands as a pursuer of things beyond our grasp, or a man tasked with an impossible mission. I do see him as lonely but also driven and passionate if not somewhat obsessive. I've drawn the Knight of Wands most often before undergoing some form of emotional change i have needed, or sometimes before i set out to do something strenuous/difficult. it's interesting reading other peoples experiences though :) In the context of love i might say the Knight of Wands is representative of someone who is not needing of love (at this time) as the tasks before him blind him from any other path, he could be preoccupied maybe?
Star83 Posted June 2, 2018 Author Posted June 2, 2018 Magic waffle - you definitely make some good points. Like you, I also find this knight as lonely with an impossible mission that requires a lot of strength. I know two guys who are the night of wands. Their lives don’t involve a stable love life. They have a fling here and there. One guy had a one night stand with a girl after he already got another woman pregnant and regrets he can’t be the stable committed man the fling girl needed.
