What would ace of wands mean if it came up as the last card

Was doing a reading for fun for a friend. I'm new to tarot so learning but her question was "is the man i like in a serious relationship?" She likes this man who seems to be hanging around a lot with this one girl and she wasn't sure if they were in a relationship or if they were if it's serious as in something with long term potential.

I kept that in mind and the cards were all pages then the last card was Ace of Wands.

How would I interpret that? Is it a not looking serious or yes? I have read that ace of wands can mean issues with long term potential but then it also says new love so I'm lost as to how to interpret.

Any insight would be appreciated, thank you kindly.

Love and light.

The Ace cards are the beginnings, a relationship getting off the ground.

is he in a serious relationship? no, because it's an Ace card. He is perhaps just at an early stage and interested in someone. This card has a meaning that it's a "potential" but you need to make it happen. You are right about the issues with long term potential, this card would be like a holiday romance whilst on holiday. But it's beginnings, maybe it will go deeper and longer. It's possible also this card means he has just started dating someone, early stages.

It's important in tarot to set a good question then you get a good clear helpful answer! In this spread, you asked a yes / no question and the tarot wants to tell you so much but you are forcing it into a binary choice. You can get the same yes or no by flipping a coin! Also this question limits the outcome, like what happens if they are in a relationship but in a not serious relationship? :) Really your friend wants to know what is the potential with him. Try to change the question to one that is open ended and then you will get so much from it, for example.... avoid questions that end in yes or no or start with will? Go for how? what is / what can? go for positive questions with open outcomes.

You would get so much out of this reading if you changed it to, What do I need to know about the potential of this guy for my friend? You can find out from that if there is a possibility there in future (positive cards) or he is taken or not interested (negative cards). Just some ideas because this has ended up a bit confusing at the end, there is a potential there with him possibly :)
