Princess Of Cups Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 Hello, nice to meet y'all! I'm really excited to join this inspiring community ;D 8) <3 My alias is Princess Of Cups, I consider myself blessed and sometimes cursed lol to have been born with clairvoyant/clairaudient and clairsentient abilities. I combine spirit work, mediumship, divination past life/karma exploration and life coaching to help myself and others navigate life. Currently on a massive health kick/life overhaul detox to get back on track with my soul missions. My favorites types of divination are tarot, oracle cards, runes, bibliomancy, scrying and shufflemancy but I also dabble in astrology, numerology and palmistry sometimes. Favorite tarot deck is my Rider Waite! I look forward to interacting with and learning from y'all!

PageOfCups Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 My favorites types of divination are tarot, oracle cards, runes, bibliomancy, scrying and shufflemancy but I also dabble in astrology, numerology and palmistry sometimes. Favorite tarot deck is my Rider Waite! Hello! And welcome. I've never heard of "shufflemancy" before, but I Googled it just now and I think it's possible that it (divination using iPods, et cetera) could work for some people. I get music "messages" a lot (that, and through films/television and other patterns also). It's like the Universe shows me not-so-random stuff and delivers messages through pop culture. I used to call it "music magic" (only because I had no other name for it). I don't do it on purpose, though. They just "come to me" (I think it's because I'd be far too logical/rational to accept less concrete messages—I also often second-guess my intuition). I'm like, "nah, I'm just imagining that" or "I'm just being crazy/that's crazy" and sometimes I wonder if I'm really just schizophrenic...
Princess Of Cups Posted June 23, 2018 Author Posted June 23, 2018 Thank you for the welcomes Raggydoll and Bookworm I'm sure I will like it here and look forward to posting a lot <3 And PageOfCups love your username for obvious reasons ;) Yeah shufflemancy seems to be a big thing these days, I know so many people who aren't even this way inclined lol but still get the most ridiculously apt songs coming up at synchronistic times and it creeps them out. Getting messages is how it started for me too, I love how you were calling it "music magic" I like that just as much as "shufflemancy." Yes through TV, radio, out and about even with street musicians and my playlists being always interrupted/hijacked/spookily changed even electronics that I switch off and unplug and they switch themselves on and keep playing proper cheesy horror movie stuff! There have been countless examples of songs and or lyrics coming out of nowhere that have just sent chills up my spine because they were exactly what I needed to know at that time. It used to freak me out a lot too but then I started noticing the messages often seemed hilariously and sometimes scarily direct answers to my prayers and questions to deities guides etc so I started to play with it and actively encourage them to use music and it stepped up to the next level because they have their own calling cards now with certain songs that pop up in the most bizarre places you would just not expect! Your story in the cab with the James Blunt and Des'ree songs is hilarious (I have Des'ree's Supernatural album and Life has some funny lyrics lol I know exactly what you mean!) also the one about your walk etc Thanks for posting the picture, and the Spice Girls stuff like that happens to me almost daily too, the universe can be so obnoxious when it wants to haha :o I used to be really uptight about it but it's my guides favorite way of teasing/lecturing me when I ignore them now. I actually would run out of shops/bars etc if one of our songs came on across to the other side of town only to have random people coming up to me and singing the same song in my face or blasting it from their cars like the music was chasing me eek >:D It can feel really strange and give you a bit of a complex when it's so obvious that it is targeted towards your present situation but you don't want to feel crazy like "God is talking to me through the radio" lol especially when you say you must be crazy and they then decide to throw a Gnarls Barkley, Patsy Cline, or Katie Melua (All have songs called "Crazy") on you! But I find the more I try to embrace it and just go with the flow and listen awesome things start to happen. (They use it to guide me towards discounts, opportunities, people who help me without even actively searching for these things) I actually find it very validating when it happens now because I'm always asking them to prove I'm not schizo when I hear their voices in my head and they will send me something that just blows it out the water. Also do you ever get it where you're listening to a song you've never heard before and you're also talking or thinking about something like you say or think about frogs and the next line of the song sings about frogs and you're like woah... Or you get certain songs stuck in your head without even hearing them for ages that can be a message too. Or when a song always comes on at a certain time like 11:11 22:22 33:33 master numbers or personally meaningful times. Dreams as well when the songs crop up there. Your experiences with the Lenormand, I can relate to that too because I keep a dream journal and have a lot of prophetic dreams and get guided towards stuff that way. You don't have to apologise for long and rambly because I'm quite guilty of that one myself! Thank you for elaborating on the shufflemancy phenomenon because I just assumed everyone would know what I meant ::)
EmpyreanKnight Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 It's so nice to see you beginning to feel at home here, Princess. Shufflemancy sounds interesting! When I inadvertently catch 11:11 tho, I mostly make a wish and that's it. I guess I'm going to pay attention to whatever song I'm listening to then. :)
PageOfCups Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 "God is talking to me through the radio" lol LMAO. That is hysterical. The thing is, tho, I think people can legit get committed for saying that: https://youtu.be/N1Bab-bjsLQ?t=34m46s Like, if I went into a mental hospital and told the doctors, "God is talking to me through the radio", they would admit me. ETA: In the real world, that is.
