ToadieOdie Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 I met SaturnCeleste over on Scribophile about a year ago. At that time I was already posting Tarot themed writing challenge prompts on my blog so it was really exciting to meet someone else that also found Tarot to be useful in writing, not just in personal readings. She recently mentioned over there about this site as a good place to learn more about Tarot. So here I am. I'm hoping to develop my reading skills with Tarot more. Not just for myself, but for others as well. Don't know what else to say other than I hope to be helpful and uplifting to people.
Princess Of Cups Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 Hi ToadieOdie, welcome to the community <3 I just joined yesterday too! Tarot inspired writing sounds really cool, there's so many layers of symbolism and imagery to play with. Hope you have a great time here :)

And hello Princess Of Cups[/member], it's wonderful to have you join TT&M as well. I'd like to suggest you both take a look at the Journals section. Everyone is really into their journals and between the photos of spreads and their interpretations, hopefully you'll both be inspired to start your own journals here. https://www.thetarotforum.com/journals/ Also, for the writer in you, we do have a writers section! https://www.thetarotforum.com/writing/ :))

Tarot inspired writing sounds really cool, there's so many layers of symbolism and imagery to play with. Hope you have a great time here :) Good to meet you! I find the symbolism and imagery of the cards to be very helpful during the brainstorming and outlining phases of writing. Sometimes it helps me breakthrough when I get stuck in spots where I'm not sure which direction I want to take a story.
