So I got to thinking it would be fun to find out how many readings for other people this community has performed!  It's totally anonymous but if you wish to share how long you've been reading the tarot in relation to how many readings you've done for others would add more to the survey.  ;D

I would guess that it lies in the range 50-100, seems right somehow.

But, I couldn't give you an exact number.

I've been studying the tarot on and off for about 10 years and collecting for about 6.

My last off period was last year due to health reasons but I kept on reading :)

I've spent the last 2-3 years pretty much exclusively on The Thoth.

I ticked the 1000 + box.

I know I've done shed loads of readings for others and even more for myself.

How much exactly I couldn't say!

When reading online,  I find reading someone else's cards easier than pulling them myself. I connect with them better that way.

Must be something to do with their energy being on the cards :)

This makes a lot of sense to me actually. :) Particularly if they had read for themselves, or if they read for someone in person and then shared on here.

I started reading when I was 16 ,, however I didnt' read full time, still don't. that was period of 1995 to 2001 til I got my sleep apa machine that I hardly did any readings as I had no energy to do it..

(that is why I am careful about my energy as I know no energy aka life force,, no good inution eheh).

it wasn't until i joined atf that i really started doing readings..

i read on past lives, inner child, alien abudction, romance, life purpose, tell me about my guide,,i forgot what else,,  so over the years there i don't know maybe 300 ? 

now this will be my tenth year at the pow wow next weekened reading the tarot so you figure 15 to 20 a day there for two days  makes about 40..

and then i read at the fair three days and so i figure i did about 15 to 20 for 2 days (it is 3 days but thursday is a slow day always maybe only 2  to 5 ) . so 8 years at 60 readings giveor take, puts me at 480 .. plus 2 yearsof jsut the pow wow at 40. makes it 160 .. 640 plus 300 i did at the atf.. not to mention the live readings i did here and there..  plus 10 to 15 i did this year another psychic gathering.

i must just be over the 1000 mark i figure .. safely >?

I went through a spell where I had over 100+ decks and I would do about once or twice a month blow out (free) readings and would do huge batches over a couple of days... but then I lost all my decks but for a few. (I also think I got slightly burned out as well) between losing the decks and had a run of deaths all in just a couple of months I am just now back to doing much with what few I have now and not really doing readings for others at the moment.

It's really interesting that the people on here who have read for a while and quite experienced, also have no idea of how many people they have read for!

 

I have never really counted either but I think I am getting close to the 200-300 mark. It seems like the least important thing really, just glad to have done all those readings for others  :)

It's difficult to say exactly but I think it's between 50 and 100. I've read very few times face to face and I've done the majority of my readings for others on forums like here or in AT. It's great to learn  :D

Only been reading for less than three years,and I haven't kept count. I've read for less than 25 people, but I've performed multiple readings for some of them. In terms of the number of discrete readings I've made for other people, I reckon that I must have performed more than 25.

I answered "less than 25 people" since I have only rarely read for others face to face, but if I counted online reading exchanges (here and at Aeclectic), the number would be much higher.

l marked the over 1000, been reading for years, for private face to face clients, for family and friends and for myself. Plus l read online for a company. 

When l think about it l have never ever lost my enthusiasm or love for tarot.  Never gone through any down phases, which after that amount and more you may expect to.

Though I have been studying tarot for the better part of 24 years or so I have to admit I was not very comfortable reading for others for the first 14 years lol.  In person I read for friends and have done multiple readings for each of them, how many I have no idea.  Other than that it has been the readings I do here in the reading circles and some I have done for my friends here.  Never counted how many lol.

Honestly, I've been reading off and on for around 5 years now, more so now in the past year and two years prior. I'd have to guesstimate at around 100 readings or more as I did them in Facebook groups and the amino communities

I marked over 1,000. I've been reading for 20 years now. I'm counting Lenormand and Kipper, too, so I hope that counts. I often choose to add a Lenormand Grand Tableaux to a Tarot reading if there are still questions left un-dealt with in the Tarot reading.

 

I still love Tarot but I'm doing more Lenormand and Kipper these days.
