Luna Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 Your time is worth money. But, you also need to keep in mind the area where you live. I have moved around so much and in different areas, had to redo my prices. When I began to read for profit, I charged $30.00 for a 30 minute reading. No follow up questions, unless it happened within the 30 minutes. The next place I moved, the going rate was $50.00/for 30 minutes, (though some readers also charged WAY more!)--but I went with this. I only lived there for 2yrs and on the move again to a new state. This place the going rate was $25.00 and I started out with that, but business was sllllooooow. So I put it to $20.00 for awhile and then it picked up, but slowed down again later. I have since moved yet again but a few of my previous customers are still calling for readings over the phone and or by internet, so I charge them the same price. $20.00. My advice is to find out what others charge and go from there. You can always raise your price too. Perhaps if the going price is anywhere from $20.00 to $100.00 for a 30 min reading, go with $20.00 and if you get a lot of business, after 6 mos or so, raise it to $30.00. If you do not get a lot of business, lower it by $5.00 but no more then that. As I said, your time is worth money after all. Good Luck!
