Morsoth Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 Hi everyone! I decided to start a new thread on this particular subject because I started making some Tarot boxes. I often do custom DVD/Blu-ray covers for my movie collection, and I decided to do the same for some of my Tarot decks. I plan to do custom boxes for decks that comes in kits. The kits comes with a book and most of the time, the cards doesn't have a box to store the deck. For years I stored them in bags but it's hard (for me) to remember which deck is stored in which bag; i'm struggling when I want to pile them up; and I saw that some decks might bend with time. Mine are rather simple, and I don't add any UPC code or anything fancy, but it's perfect to be printed, glued on a cardboard, and voilà! Anyway, since I'm spending some time to make them, why not share it with you? :) Here's my first attempt: The Hi-Resolution files of my decks can be Downloaded Here (https://www.deviantart.com/morsoth/gallery/67236056/Tarot-Deck-Boxes), and I will post the last ones in this thread. You might be find some of them of use, and I invite you to post the ones you made (if any) here too! =========================================== Tarot des Grands Initiés d'Egypte Witches Tarot Necronomicon Tarot

Flaxen Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 Very nice! Do you use regular cardboard or a specific type? Raggydoll[/member] also makes boxes for her decks. Hopefully she’ll pop over and share some images too.
Morsoth Posted September 11, 2018 Author Posted September 11, 2018 Me personally, it's nothing too fancy. I print it on regular paper with a lazer printer, then I glue the paper on a piece of cardboard (not sur how much thick it is, but the ones I have are large white sheets from a dollar store) and then a cut the pattern. You can go to a print shop and print the design directly on a cardboard, but it's more expensive. My main focus is to have somehing practical and nice, without paying too much. I prefer to spend more on future Tarot decks instead of pricy boxes! ;D
