Kizza Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Hi Everybody, Another 'Newbie' here! :) I started reading normal playing cards when I was 12yrs old (that was about 100yrs ago X-D) + read for/with my cousins when they stayed with us during the school holidays. I had my first clairvoyant tarot reading from a very old lady in her creepy old house, when I was about 14 or 15 (I remember that I was impressed but pity I didn't write it down what she told me :(). Over the yrs, I've dabbled in Fengshui, I ching, Dominoes, playing cards, astrology (basic), numerology + oracle cards just for fun for family/friends. About 2 1/2yrs ago, while having a long break between jobs, I had an urge to buy my first Tarot deck. Yep u guessed it... the RWT deck :). Since then, I've bought many different decks (tarot, lenormand, kipper etc) which I love too. Thank goodness for books, internet + YouTube to help me how to learn the tarot + also to find my style of reading. I still read for my family, friends + acquaintances only + my learning continues on. To find a community like this one is terrific, as we all share this passion. <3
Raggydoll Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Welcome!! I also started with regular playing cards at twelve and then moved in to tarot at fourteen. So it’s been a while now (20+ years!). I’m sure you will feel at home here, looking forward to reading what you have to say!
