Raggydoll Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 Oh thank goodness! I have the pantless version. I like the deck though. ::) I have the pantless version too. What's up with that; it looks like he's about to grab the knife, sacrifice the dogs, and then have his way with the kids! But I still like the deck too; any deck that features a cheetah will always be a favorite of mine. I HAD to google this card. And I agree with you. What you described sounds like a very possible scenario :o
Raggydoll Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 Maybe it's a warning not to flush your money down the toilet! :)) LOL actually he is pooping it into a treasure chest looking box so my guess is he plans to keep his poop! :P It’s more like if the message is : “Don’t let anything go to waste, cause it could be a real treasure!” A bit like a hoarders-motto really X-D
AJ-ish/Sharyn Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 A favorite of many, I was so repulsed by the Fey I shipped the kit free to a member in Argentina just to get it far away from me. They all looked like radiation survivors to me.
Jewel Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 Yes SaturnCeleste, still talking about the Bosch 10 of poopies. I just have to post the card now, because well it lends itself to great commentary >:D. ~giggles~ I never thought I would ever find value to the Bosch 10 of poopies lol. You guys have made me laugh so hard I have tears running down my cheeks ... organic fertilizer ROFLMAO, NightShade's warning not to flush LOL, and Raggydoll's comment (the one that made me spew water on my keyboard AND screen) I have to say I NEVER thought I would ever have so much fun talking about this card ::) It’s more like if the message is : “Don’t let anything go to waste, cause it could be a real treasure!” A bit like a hoarders-motto really X-D Oh girl I am going to have remember that next time (if there is one) that I pull that deck out! LOL .... Come to think of it, this might be the perfect deck to use in the "Terrible Tarot" game thread, just imagine the interpretations I could come up with! X-D
Grandma Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 Tarot of the III Millennium definitely freaks me out... https://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?t=170316 ...but I love it anyway... ...with a caveat. I can only look at the cards, absorb the detailed and grotesque pictures, at a not very deep level. The artwork is incredible. But I cannot meditate with them, because they take me to scary and dangerous places, and I won't even attempt to read with this deck. Grandma, it's an awesome deck! Lay the cards out like on the floor or a large surface and you'll see the pictures go from one card onto the next card!! I use this deck especially for writer readings. It's a fascinating deck! It is indeed, Saturn Celeste! I discovered the puzzle aspect in a review of the deck. Luckily, I found a cheat sheet because doing it myself was confusing....
VGimlet Posted October 10, 2018 Posted October 10, 2018 I'm not really freaked out by any decks, but probably the one that came closest for me is the Wormweird. Ugh. If I remember right, there are gobbits of flesh. The only deck I've ever gotten that I had to fumigate was a used greenie Thoth deck that smelled like...sex. I am not even kidding. I have no idea what it was previously used for, but I had to leave it out in the sun for awhile to get rid of the smell. Ew.
bookshop Posted September 10, 2019 Posted September 10, 2019 Bringing this thread back to say that just tonight I discovered the Solleone Tarot by Elisabeta Cassari, and something about the colorful quirky art style of the deck combined with the grim imagery really got to me! You can see most of the deck at this etsy listing, and yowza. The heirophant robes stained with blood, the 3 of pentacles murder, the deranged hermit, the emperor just killing everybody, the ace of swords about to behead someone!!! It's a lot. Also, @EmpyreanKnight, the Ritual Abuse deck you mentioned was designed to homage the art style of the Scary Stories To Tell in the Dark series, which is, I'm sure, the scary books you are referring to! It's a really fascinating and beautiful deck, but I don't think I could ever own it!
Swanhild Posted September 10, 2019 Posted September 10, 2019 I had this reaction to Anthony Clark's Magickal Tarot. First and only time. I got goosebumps and trouble breathing and couldn't even go through the whole deck. Banished it to a dark drawer at the office. Today I think it might be more related to the previous owner than the actual deck - got it used and it had this weirdly sticky outer box. Maybe I should try and locate another copy and see what happens...
Guest libra Posted September 10, 2019 Posted September 10, 2019 It feels silly to say this about a popular mass market deck, but I've always gotten some REALLY evil vibes from the Wild Unknown. Like needing to wash my hands after picking it up in a bookstore. I love the aesthetic of the deck, but something about it is like back alley disease energy and I just CAN'T with that deck, much as I want to like it!
bookshop Posted September 10, 2019 Posted September 10, 2019 Quote something about it is like back alley disease energy scream, I don't disagree with this one bit and I love you for saying it, @libra 😂
