just noticed this on amazon.. last book of hers was 2007 on tarot reversals..

 

for myself i remember speculation she had passed on atf, we never did any resolvement as to her actual status,,

Thank you for the information about this new book, HOLMES.  It sounds great.  I learned Tarot with Joan's online course.  Apparently she is alive and well, as at the bottom of the page you linked it reads

That part it said that for probaly 6 to 8 years.  I hope she updates website before it releases.

It could be that the information really hasn't changed, or it could be that she got divorced and moved to Tibet, and no one bothered to change the bio.

 

Ordinarily I would give the benefit of a doubt and say that Joan still lives in Virginia, etc.  Lately though, I have encountered so much incompetence that I am more inclined to say, Joan died five years ago, the book is coming out posthumously, and everyone involved at Amazon is too lazy to fact check before advertising the book.

 

But I am digressing from the main focus of your thread with my odd obsession on your secondary point.  A great new book is going to be available soon.  Thank you for letting us know, and please forgive my rant.

I started that AT conversation Holmes, the one about does anyone know who or where she is.

I can't see anything that says this is a print on demand publication by Weiser,

but a preorder.

So maybe she is a real person and this is a real book :)
