Cotillion Posted September 26, 2018 Posted September 26, 2018 Figured I’d take this time to introduce myself.......though i am quite shy, so it’ll take some time to open up lol Firstly, what brought me here is I was looking for an online tarot forum....I’ve seen Aeclectic forum was shut down a while ago.....and I did enjoy that place back years ago when my journey first started off. I had gotten interested in tarot around 2007-08, and did quite a bit of readings till about 2015, but then just lost my way...and lost my path (i was, and am again a Pagan witch). My journey picked back up again with Tarot back in April of this year, and I’ve been reading for others since late May. The two decks I use are Witches Tarot by Ellan Dugan, and the Mystical Faerie Tarot by Barbara Moore (the borderless version) Little more personal info....I’m 26, from New England USA...love hiking, mostly anything with being outdoors...and i LOVE to read, my username here comes from the series I’m reading now called Malazan Book of the Fallen by Steven Erikson Anyways, that’s all I suppose for my intro, can’t wait to connect with some new people!
HOLMES Posted September 26, 2018 Posted September 26, 2018 welcome.. hi did we run into each other on atf ? I don't recall reading for you. though there was long periods of not reading for me. only 26 ? let me share that when I joined atf I was 26 going on 27 and I am now 43,, and come a long way , (practicing different readings,, readings severals books, reading in live fairs ) . that started by the access to a forum where I could practice in an friendly way for feedback. so I hope you have the experience somewhat along those lines s when you look back , you can say oh boy (or girl ) did my reading style expand, or my knowledge etc. being outdoors? have a look at the athurian tarot by matthew , his pips are landscapes..or the vision tarot with photo landscapes.

I hope so too! It’s a dream of mine to be able to grow in confidence and hopefully read at a Pagan faire or something of the sort...I’ve done about 100 (give or take some) since I started reading for others in late May..i read mainly intuitively, and I’ve always gotten nothing but good feedback, I know i have a TON more to learn, and this place may just be the place to do it....tarot has become a pretty big part of my life

Jewel Posted October 10, 2018 Posted October 10, 2018 Hi Cotillion and welcome to TT&M. I took took a long break from Tarot, got back into to it about 14 months ago. Like for you it is a big part of my life. With your pagan interests you might be interested in the Lunar Group where we do group readings (we each post our own reading and share) for the full moons. There are also sometimes Group readings for the Esbats, there is actually a Holloween group set up that you can join this month! Look forward to seeing you around!
