Hello! Long-time tarot gatherer, first-time tarot-community joiner

Hi! My name's Noella. I've been fascinated with tarot cards since I was a teenager. Since then I've collected more than a dozen decks, and have several tarot deck apps on my phone I rotate between. Other than the True Black tarot on order I'm not allowed another deck for a very, very long time.

 

I'm equally in love with the symbolism/internal journey they evoke as well as the art itself - I get so excited when I see a great artist's interpretation of all 78 cards.

 

Despite my love of them I never really discuss them or do reading exchanges with others, and I'd love to change that(and simply discuss them and everything related)

 

My favorite decks are Shadowscapes, The Fountain, Linestrider, Rohrig, and Mystical cats.

 

Decks I'm sad I own and never connected to are the Mary El, Tarot of the Vampyres, Tarot de la Nuit, and the Happy tarot. The rest of my decks live somewhere in the middle.

 

I have two cats and a husband, and write paranormal romance/UF novels on the side. I love to color, sew (badly), and read. I'd much rather do all these things than go to work each day. My dream is to make my own tarot some day, but we'll see. That takes an awful lot of focus, and I'm a squirrel brain.

Oh!!! *researches* I had no idea, thank you - as an equal dog and cat person that does look just as lovely as the cat one! TY, I'll definitely be putting it on my wish list.  ;D

Thank you! It's so great, isn't it? Stephanie Law's art is so unique and lovely, and I always find something new in her critters and details.  :))

 

ha ha I had a win at work and treated myself, but it did mean I'm cut off for a while! That's perhaps the most money I've spent on a deck. But can't wait to unbox it!

Hi Noella!  (( Glad you found TT&M!  You will find plenty of friends here to talk anything and everything tarot with.  I do also hope you join in on the reading circles, they are a lot of fun and people in this community are fantastic.
