MoonGypsy Posted November 1, 2018 Posted November 1, 2018 i am very, very heartbroken to share the news of the Passing of my dear soul sister, Lyn Monrean aka tarotlyn. Apparently, she passed on October 13th. i am waiting for more news... When i hear, i will post here. We were close cyber friends for more than 10 years, and i already miss her so much. We always exchanged gifts on our Birthdays and Holidays, and i am already feeling the void. She was a big sister to me and she called me "Mookie". May her spirit soar on the wings of Light.

I know it hurts but you're one of the lucky ones, at least you found out and didn't have to keep going on wondering what happened to her. Now you can include her in your prayers. ((

She DID creat the Mystic Mauve Lenormand. These are all the wonderful Lenormand decks she created: The Shabby Chicness Lenormand The Shades of Pink Lenormand The Yellow Lennie Lenormand The Emerald Forest Lenormand The Blue Muse Lenormand The Instant Lenormand The Mystic Mauve Lenormand And the GORGEOUS--Full Moon Lenormand!!! She even made beautiful jewelry and knitted.... The earrings i wear most everyday were made by her... i am thrilled that you love the Shades of Pink Lenormand--that was the 2nd Lenormand deck we worked on together.

It is such a shock...i am really having quite a difficult time processing all this... i came across this obituary this morning, although they got her Birthday wrong. She was actually born on January 16th--not the 6th. She gifted me the Chiuaha (sp?) Tarot when she first made it. Actually, 2 of them, as I donated one to a Animal Shelter to raffle off and the monies went back into the shelter. TarotLyn was a HUGE animal lover and was willing to even donate more to them, showing just how lovely a lady she was! She was a good woman and she and I became friends as well for awhile on A.T. I lost track of her after she left A.T. I am sorry to hear of her passing and will keep her in my thoughts and prayers. R.I.P. dear TarotLyn!

DownUnderNZer Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 Very sad and unexpected news indeed. I remember TarotLyn on AT and have one or two of her decks as well. In fact, last night I spotted this box on the shelf with a string tied around it with a bow, and inside it was the Blue Muse. Dated October of 2013. I may actually open up a thread in the Lenormand section and read with them (photos attached) as a tribute to her including the extra cards she has in it like CAT 37 and WORK 38 etc even YES and NO cards. :biggrin: RIP Lyn Monrean aka Tarotlyn. As some of you know, i worked very closely with Lyn on her first several Lenormand decks. Bobbie Jo Drake worked with Lyn on her last 2. We have been in close contact lately, and have been supporting each other during our grieving process. It is such a help! She is a dear sweet lady, and i have invited her to come join us here in the forum. i sincerely hope that she does.xoxoxox
