beginagain Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 So this is the box where I keep my tarot. It's an old cutlery canteen on legs that I ripped the insides out of and relined with new velvet. Unfortunately the new velvet isn't that pleasant violet colour but a more standard royal blue that didn't photograph well (budget and all that) but it still looks smick regardless. The shape's a little odd but there's enough room for my notebooks and all my decks. I'm pretty happy with it. It stands at the bottom of my bed.
DevonCarter Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 That's really pretty! I lucked out and found a small cabinet t the thrift store with twelve drawers, each just big enough to hold a tarot deck, so I have most of mine in that.
beginagain Posted November 4, 2018 Author Posted November 4, 2018 That sounds lovely. :) Care to share some pictures?
Guest libra Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 That's really cute and innovative! Technically, my decks live on this little corner shelf, but in all actuality, dozens roam free around my house at any given moment.
beginagain Posted November 4, 2018 Author Posted November 4, 2018 libra[/member], that's so cool, they have their own little altar.
Saturn Celeste Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 Those are both wonderful and unusual storage places! If you decide to share more of your place, we have a thread going here: https://www.thetarotforum.com/talking-tarot/your-altar/
EmpressAdora Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 That’s really cool! Right now I’m just using a bunch of old Ipsy bags. My toddler lover my cards so I have to keep them up where she can’t get them. Some day I would love to display them.
DanielJUK Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 what a beautiful way of storing all your decks beginagain  :)
ilweran Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 I have a bookcase full, bit Andi used to keep the I've I actually use in a very pretty red and black shoe box that looked like like it was lacquered. It got quite bashed about after years of use so now I'm using a slightly sturdied box covered in a feather pattern. There were some different sizes and I'm beginning to think I should have gone for the larger size!
