Hello all,

 

I'm very happy to be here. I've been reading the old Aeclectic forums, but then found Tarot, tea and me.

 

A few years ago I started learning the RWS card meanings, mainly by rote and then, somehow  just trailed off. I came across my deck again recently and something happened, I got bitten by the tarot bug. I'm glad to see there is a special thread to help talk people down from buying too many decks, as I've gone a bit mad on that front!  :bugeyed: And all those walk throughs on YouTube, all those beautiful decks and books.

 

Anyway, I'm currently working my way through Mary Greer' s 21 Ways to Read a Tarot Card, which I'm really enjoying.

I'm glad you found your way back to Tarot, and found this forum.  There's a lot to learn here, and a lot of really great people to help you on your journey.

 

And I totally get buying too many decks - they're irresistible sometimes!  But like you said, we can talk each other down.

I sneakily managed to order two decks before looking at that.  >:D I tell myself that this is enough for now!  Anna K and Victorian Romantic.  It is probably very true about being slightly obsessive due to other stress in my life at the moment!!

Thank you Thoughtful, really glad to be here!  Yes, I think it is hard to resist a nice deck. I find a lot of the pleasure is the anticipation, the watching of the unboxing videos, the reading of the reviews, the checking of the tracking!
