In tarot numerology, 2s are about balance, duality and change. This cat perfectly demonstrates the 'balance' aspect. This card tells us about the need to be able to ground ourselves. Cat in a bun/loaf position : Denotes passiveness, interiorization and tells us the cat is not in a state of stress.

 

Apples : Hold very varied symbolism, including knowledge. Fruits in general can be related to the notion of 'fruits of labor'. 

 

Number 2 (apples) : Symbolizes duality, balance and change.

 

Yellow + red apples : Both apples on top of each other like that remind me of traffic lights. The yellow one indicating to slow down (as the book advises us to) and the red one telling us to stop completely. 

 

Autumn/fall season : Moment of the year when life gradually slows down, it's considered a good time for self-reflection. Like Spring, it's a transitional season and thus can symbolize life changes.
