Does anybody know how much the Wizards Tarot orig sold for?  I like the deck, but there's no app for exploring it.  Does anybody have experience with this deck?  And if so, what do you think of it?  How would you value it?

I paid $20.69 for it and I also bought the book Tarot and Astrology: Enhance Your Readings With the Wisdom of the Zodiac for $16.30.  The grand total with tax was $39.58.

The Moon card has dogs that remind me of my own dog, Luna.  It also doesn’t hurt that the Fool/Initiate has a rabbit at her feet :).

She’s smart, but she’s still full-on puppy, lol!  She’s still trying herself and will be going to puppy school in January.  She’ll train to be my service dog <3

 

From one Wizards Tarot lover to another, how much would you pay for an open, used deck and guidebook?  I’m asking the seller a few questions to try and ascertain their age, edition, environmental conditions, but I only have experience as a bookseller, so I’m looking for insight from someone wiser than me and you qualify :)

I tried getting the app yesterday and not only didn’t it load, it didn’t subtract the app amount from my debit card.  I really wish it had worked, but I’m thinking they may not be carrying the app any more.

I noticed the deck was selling for over $370 and I don't recommend spending that much for any deck unless it's a Sola Busca deck.  It's just too much money. :(

I see somebody’s offering it for $175 obo and there are others out there selling the deck and guide, unopened for $202, so the $175 seems like a bit much, esp not knowing how used it is.  Can you think of a good counter offer?

No, I really can't.  There are so many decks out there, so many times I've seen a deck that I had the opportunity to get for $20 - $30 and is now selling for an incredible amount of money and I just look at it as the ones that got away.  Only my Sola Busca decks I have did I spend a lot of money and it wasn't that much at the time anyway.  If you start spending hundreds of dollars you might end up missing out on some decks you can get now for far less.

Good point!  I love the cards, but the prices are unnerving.  I have the book Tarot and Astrology.  Hopefully there’s a good deck out there that will work well with it.

She has other OOP stuff up there very reasonably, and looks genuine. There's another still boxed for $89 or something.
