Anouk Posted January 1, 2019 Posted January 1, 2019 I haven't been on the forum for long, and when I signed up I didn't know I would get so much out of it and I picked a username without any thought. I chose Crowleyreader because I had a Thoth deck sitting in front of me. Since then, I bought the Shadowscapes deck which I really love, and my old username was redundant and misleading. Today I went to the river to bathe and wash away the crap from 2018 and while I was floating (I am really good at floating) I chose the name Anouk for my rebirth. I don't know why, it just came to me. Anyway, that's the name I am going with. So here I am. I am pretty new to the whole tarot thing, despite having that Thoth deck for 20 years. I didn't connect with it and thought that was that. I became interested in tarot because after that last really shocking year I felt completely disconnected from my intuition or my higher self, and I realised that tarot would help me connect with my subconscious. I come from a scientific psychology approach and it's all really fascinating to me. So much to learn and read. And thanks for having me.
