I've been under a rock and am just getting this one.

What in the world do you call the cardstock?

I'm impressed by the deck, the presentation, the companion digest...but my mind keeps whispering, is it rubber?

haven't shuffled it yet, I'm still checking all the cards are here.

thanks!

Laminated card, I'd say. It is lovely, isn't it - deck and stock. It shuffles like butter.

Just. Wow. Are any other decks using this card stock?

Is this the one Seven Stars likes so much? I've never purchased any of hers.

I wonder if this is the deck of choice for mermaids? :)

I love it! The whole thing I mean, not just the cardstock, love it.

It is similar to the 1st edition of the Wild Unknown, but thicker. Similar kind of finish, almost waxy. It handles so beautifully. I haven't been this mesmerized by a deck since the Greenwood.

I tried to ask Kim Krans about the cardstock once, back when it first came out, but I got a snarky reply from an underling.
