Sorry, I know that subject line isn't very clear, but I couldn't think of a better way to describe it.  Have you ever been "haunted" by a card that kept appearing both upright, then reversed, then upright, etc?  I'm new to tarot, but this keeps happening to me and I'm not sure what to make of it. The general idea behind recurring cards seems pretty clear to me, but I don't know what the flip-flopping might suggest.

Maybe it signifies a lack of commitment? Or maybe I'm projecting? Or maybe just confusion in general?  I'm not asking for a reading on any specific card; I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing and if anyone has thoughts on this trend in general.

I have been shuffling my deck really well, using a few different methods, btw. Thanks in advance!

Lately it's been both the Chariot and the three of swords.  I'm getting them both reversed and upright in daily draws and in readings.  If you feel like sharing what you think the flip-flopping Star means for you'd, I'd be interested in hearing about it :)

The Queens of Cups, Wands and Swords appear to me in most every spread. It does mean something to me, but it's personal. As goes with every reader.

Yes, cards that stalk you are very common.  But I suggest you try this to shuffle.  Turn all your cards upright. Then lay out 4 cards then keep stacking each pile.  You'll end up with 2 cards left over, put one of the left hand pile and the other in the right hand pile.  Keeping the 4 piles shuffle in different combinations, eventually ending with shuffling the deck as you would be before a reading.  I don't know how you put reversed cards into the deck but I have two things I do with reversals.  This is my personal technique.  I only put in reversals for readings then I remove the reversed cards and set them upright.  I never keep reversed cards in my deck.  So I'm going to use reversed cards in my reading.  After they are shuffled really good I count out 21 cards.  Reverse them and I slip them into the middle of my deck.  Then I shuffle a lot longer now with the reversals in the deck.  The whole time repeat the question you're reading for.  After the reading, turn your reversed cards upright then your deck is ready for the next reading.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm going to try that  :)
