What a great place this forum is and hopefully meet / read you all at some point here.

 

I am new to tarot reading but not new to spiritualism: My mum is Turkish/Kurdish and I grew up seeing her and her friends getting together for Turkish coffee readings and mum would read the cards if she felt like it, sometimes her friends had to beg her. She was really good at it but always said she wasn't..oh and she wasn't reading tarot cards, she was reading playing cards (the ones you play poker with).

 

I never learnt to read the cards from her but I learnt to interpret patterns in the coffee, so sometimes me and my girlfriends get together for a Turkish coffee night and one of my other friend reads the tarot. Her name is Yulia and she has the kindest heart, really! She is a Psychotherapist by day and a witch by night which is kind of odd ;D but maybe not? And she got me my first deck a couple of months ago and I'm serious now, I want to learn it. 

 

Tarot for me is a book of life and the cards are there to help me to connect to my wisdom within and hold my hand as I make my journey through life.  <3 X/
