My name is Nikol (pronounced Nicole - this was a translation error made on my passport when I was born), I prefer she/they pronouns and I've been learning to read Tarot for a week now. From a young age, I've been drawn to the occult and the divine, so I see it as inevitable that I became drawn to the Tarot in the summer of 2018. I was going through a dark period of time and was looking for some guidance to help me along my journey, and received numerous Tarot readings from friends and professional readers. It was wonderful as I was blessed with their loving wisdom and unique answers to my queries, but I believe reading for yourself has that personal intuitive touch that no one, no matter how well or closely you know them, can replicate - you know yourself best, after all. I've been using the Gilded Tarot, which I find so beautifully and mystically illustrated, and consult a guidebook written by Josephine Ellershaw. Unfortunately, I do see the guidebook as being a little too rigid and simplistic for my liking so I've also ventured into looking at websites like thetarotguide and psychic revelation. I hope to make some new friends here and learn more about Tarot from everyone!! <3 ((
