Hello!

-Name: Endy

-Pronouns: She/her

-Do you read Tarot or other Card systems?: I am just starting out! Read more below :)

-How long have you been reading if so?: I'm brand new

-Where did you find Tarot, Tea, & Me?: Little Fang <3

-What would you like to learn here?: Being a beginner, I have much to learn. Therefore my answer is "everything" haha. I am interested in learning the history and mechanics of tarot, as well as tips and suggestions for tarot and oracle decks.

As I mentioned, I am a beginner reader! I just received my first tarot deck two days ago (the Linestrider deck). I was excited to receive the deck but was shocked at how I immediately fell in love with it. I have heard of others connecting with their cards before but have obviously never experienced, so it was exciting for me to experience this right off the bat. I've done a couple readings for myself with surprisingly great success. I know I still have a lot to learn, though.

I have had an oracle deck (The Way of Cartouche) for many years but I never connected with it. I think a big reason is that I didn't really agree with the author's descriptions/interpretations of the cards. Also, the cards themselves just never grabbed me. And yet, I have held onto these cards for over ten years, bringing them with me on big, out of state moves. I have recently been told that it is OK to write your own interpretation of the cards so I think that is what I am meant to do with them.

Anyway, thank you all for having me and I am excited to get to know you as I begin this journey!

Best,

Endy

I looked at your tarot,,

and If I was a starting out I would have a hard time with it.. that said..

our first tarot experiences tend to define who we are.. example.

I am an waite person so all my tarot decks come from my waite imagery in my mind.

it would be the same for thoth,, or marsielles deck learners..

so with linestrider as you seem to have taken to it like a baby to water.. (yay the universe sent it your way )..i wonder what decks you will get in the future. .  O:-)

Thank you all so much for the warm welcome!  ;D

Holmes, before I chose the Linestrider deck, I read a few reviews on it and others have said the same thing as you. However I also read reviews saying that it is great for beginners. Since I was so drawn to it, I decided to go with my gut. I am also interested in seeing what future decks come my way :D
