When Tarot is hilariously literal

I just had the most hilarious realization and it confirmed what I was fairly sure the card represented in this reading. Queen of Cups (Wife?) clarified by 5 of Wands (Struggle/conflict) Cockney rhyming slang: “Trouble and Strife” = “Wife”. And there we have it, haha!

 

I also had 5 of Pents once to represent a dysfunctional time clock.

Today l asked for a card from the deck and pulled 9 Blades, a woman hands over eyes, clock ticking by her side, and her little dog in front of her staring at her.  Had to chuckle, l have an elderly dog who needs to go out for wee's during the night, so my sleep is disturbed often and l look at my clock thinking," oh now what time is she getting me up".  l thought that was priceless.

I had the three of swords before having keyhole surgery involving three incisions (outcome was three of cups, all did go well with no complications). Also my work moving offices brought up the Tower, the only thing that went wrong was someones PC breaking...

 

A girly weekend away had a friend showing me some, ahem, 'interesting' photos of a bloke she was seeing. Did a reading for her and the King of Wands appeared...
