Sadly my partner is only around late evenings this weekend (the only time I see them) so I can't spare the time to take part live, but I've signed up and will watch the replay probably tomorrow. Thanks so much for linking this, I'm always trying to find ways to wrap my brain around the courts.

I’ll also be watching the replay as I plan on spending this evening with my husband

I wanted to share some notes for those of you that did not catch this workshop.

Lisa has a system of how she reads court cards. She just adapts her methods to different types of readings/questions.

She starts by separating her advice into three categories of readings:

1. Self development readings (readings which don't always predict the future; where the seeker has all the control/responsibility; where advice is given without revealing the future). In these types of readings all court cards will represent the seeker and different parts of their personality. In 99% of self development readings the seeker is the one that help themselves. But there are of course instances where other people are involved. In those circumstances Lisa has assigned the cards of the Major Arcana to represent other people.

2. Standard Readings with questions (The seeker asks a specific question and they are open and honest and willing to share about their situation). In this case you assign a whole suit to them, based on the type of question asked. The different ranks of courts from this suit can then show levels of maturity in your seeker. Any other court cards (not from the assigned suit) will then represent outside people.

3. Readings without questions (when the seeker is non cooperative or not willing to share information, or when they don't have an actual question). In these cases you must get creative. She recommends that you assign a certain rank of court cards to your seeker. So, for instance, if your seeker is a mature man then all kings would represent him.

In one of her previous free workshops she went into much more detail on these different techniques as well as on her method of reading courts depending on how they interact with each other (the way they are facing). I have written another recap of that workshop in case you want to read it, it helps to further explain the methods I just mentioned:

I watched it as well. I did like her suggestions on reading the courtcards very much.

Thanks Raggydoll[/member] for the link to your notes on the previous workshop, it indeed seems to have been a bit more detailed.

I had the impression that this yesterday's workshop was more of a teaser to subscribe to her class that she advertised later in the workshop.

I got the same feeling and I wonder if she purposely left out the things she addressed in the first workshop and if she now has included those techniques in the paid course. That’s what I’m inclined to think. I was a bit disappointed by the lack of further information but I understand that she can’t have everything for free - she has to be able to support herself!

Thanks for the link to the summary! I signed up for this workshop, but unfortunately, never got the replay link.

There wasn’t a separate link, the clip stayed up at the original site for 24 hours. If you didn’t get a confirmation email then perhaps it ended up in your spam filter?

I searched all of my e-mail for anything from her. The only link I had was the one that said the class was over, with the FAQ. Tried e-mailing her, but to no avail.

I guess it just wasn't meant to be. I ended up finding some great podcasts on the subject! I also got the e-book, Understanding The Tarot Court by Mary K. Greer and Tom Little.
