favorite WITCHY deck(s).....

I have no Witchy type decks, so this thread is really me getting all your opinions on Witch-Style decks you have and your thoughts.

I particularly am interested in Witch decks that follow RWS pretty easily. Wiccan, Witch, Wise Woman great decks by any of those names X/

Pagan decks are one sub-classification of decks I really love.  I have written detailed reviews about several of them here on TT&M if you want to check them out, the include info on the deck, companion books, my experiences reading with them, and who I think I might enjoy them, you can find the reviews at this link https://www.thetarotforum.com/deck-reviews/.

My personal favorite is the Green Witch and I would also highly recommend the Druid Craft.  The Every Day Witch is a fun deck, but though it has a less spiritual feel to it if that is what you are after, but it is a good deck.  But my top recommendation would be The Green Witch.

THANKS Barbiefly and Jewel....and I'm OFF to be enabled.... I REALLY like the idea of "green", Nature type decks, but really anything along the theme of Witch/Wicca/Pagan.

I have a little sub group of pagan/witchy decks.. my favourites include the Greenwood, although it could be argued that it is more shamanic than witchy. I like the Pagan 2000, as it is beautiful and a good read, and agree wholeheartedly about the Druidcraft and Green Witch.

And I still return to Robin Wood again and again, as my comfort deck.  :heartz:

I've more or less retired the Old Path, as it's stopped speaking to me....

right now, I’m just getting to grips with my recently acquired Modern Spellcaster, which is an intense active experience! I am also having to get used to Wands being Air and Swords, Fire in this deck  ???

I'm going to go off and read Jewel's reviews now.  :)  I'd be interested to hear/read anyone's views about the Silver Witchcraft, as I bought it but haven't done a thing with it  ::)

I do not own that deck so no idea about it.  The Robin Wood was the deck I learned Tarot with, and it and the Tarot of the Old Path were my two primary reading decks for years.  The Tarot of the Old Path has some beautiful majors, but I prefer the minors from the other decks I mentioned, especially when it comes to the court cards.

I really love the Everyday Witch, it feels very witchy but also very cute and friendly and loving and optimistic.

I also am kind of fond of the Celtic Dragon tarot, which is a deeply witchy deck — the book that comes with it contains lots of suggested spells and rituals for manifestation, and the dragons themselves are sort of treated as shamanic talismans. I know very little about witches or dragons or celts, but it's a surprisingly deep deck given what seems to be superficially cute imagery, at a glance!

The Green Witch is chalk-full of Pagan imagery. If you're interested in Paganism, Ann Moura's Green Witchcraft series is a good read, too. The Pagan Cats is a pleasant deck, and Julia Cuccia-Watts makes some nice decks, too.

Has anyone had experience with this deck? http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/silver-witchcraft-tarot/

I just watched a couple of walkthroughs of the Green Witch Tarot, and it looks gorgeous. I'm very tempted to stray from my TdM decks, just for a peek mind you...  :o

I'm afraid I haven't any experience with the Silver Witchcraft Tarot. It looks like there's just the one review on AT, but there seem to be at least a couple of walkthroughs on YouTube. Amazon US seems to have it for about $5 off currently, if that makes a difference for anyone. I noticed that the link from AT leads to what I presume is an OOP edition, but this appears to be the current version: https://www.amazon.com/Silver-Witchcraft-Tarot-Deck-Scarabeo/dp/0738749230
