Myszka102 Posted March 24, 2019 Posted March 24, 2019 what do you think about tarot validity? Is it a fault to interpret it? or it just does not work? A year ago I was on the reading, reader said that I would definitely get pregnant in August, I did not go. I went 2 months later in the ectopic pregnancy. how is this time in tarot determined with this? actually she always said tarot valid untill 2 years. I rememeber both within 2 years 2 augusts have passed
joy Posted March 24, 2019 Posted March 24, 2019 Hi Myszka102[/member] If Tarot can predict events like getting pregnant at a particular time/month/year is a very controversial topic. In my opinion the only 'thing' that is real is the current moment, the NOW. The future is not here, we can only hope the future will be like we want it to be. We are beings with free will and we can change things, we make decisions, change roads and directions. Also to get pregnant needs two people and each one makes their own choices/decisions. In my opinion to ask Tarot if I get pregnant within a certain time period therefore is not the best way to ask Tarot. It might be better to ask 'What do I need to do to get pregnant'.
Myszka102 Posted March 24, 2019 Author Posted March 24, 2019 even if she checked for examples one reading and 2 weeks after another about the same case and 2 different opinions? I really dontt understandZ long break or short and readings tottaly oposites
Guest Posted March 24, 2019 Posted March 24, 2019 The tarot cards do not tell the future. tarot can be a tool that some people use for that. We can't hold the tarot responsible for someone's errors, anymore than we would blame the wrench when a mechanic gives the wrong diagnosis and the car is still broken. fire cat pickles Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 I think tarot can show us future possibilities and/or probabilities. Nothing is set in stone. As a sitter, we have to take responsibility for what eventually happens to us and for us. As readers, we also have to take responsibility for our sitters and guide them with advice that will set them on a path that will help them along the way. Personally, I would not give medical advice in a reading (pregnancy is certainly medical advice, by the way!) I'm sorry you had to go through that. I'm happy you survived it. That was not a safe situation at all. That reader should not be reading for anyone, in my opinion.
truthseeker65 Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 I second what Firecatpickles says about health. I will read health for myself but not for others.
Wanderer Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 My experience suggests that the cards are valid, but the interpretation is down to the reader. Sometimes the reliable insights are genuinely ambiguous, and there is always a temptation to go too far. Some people have the intuitive gift to be able to pick up extra information reliably, at least some of the time. Others want to, and try to, but don't quite manage. For others, it's hit and miss. With any reader, there's a chance that they'll be wide of the mark on any particular occasion, and anyone taking a reading needs to be aware that the words they come away with have at least a layer of interpretation... and the reader should make this clear as well. As for whether Tarot can foretell random future events... I would have said no, some time ago. Experience is now suggesting otherwise, though, and my philosophy is trying to adapt to new possibilities... but even so, interpretations of those future events have the same ambiguity as for present events. Bottom line: readings should be learned from and pondered, rather than relied on.
