Some of you may remember me from AT where I was active between 2008-2012 as Cat* (amongst other shenanigans, I started the Reading with Erotic Decks (RED) exchange there). After a long break from everything tarot-related, I've recently started to get out my decks for a reading here and there again and found that the cards still talk to me (yay!). So now I'm dipping my toes into the online tarot world again here. Partly to see what has happened since the last time I checked, partly to get a bit involved with what is happening now, partly to (eventually) sell off parts of my small-ish collection, partly to (possibly) buy/trade a few new decks again. We'll see! For now, however, I'll take some time to look around, see what old names I might recognize and what interesting new people have appeared while I was away, and generally get a feel for this place. And see if I can find a copy of my deck list somewhere, so I can fill out the rest of my profile. ;) Looking forward to exploring! Cat

Oh, right, the blog! Haven't checked that one in ages... But it's very nice to hear that there has been interest, even if *I* wasn't around! Me too. Didn't you get hung up on some TV show ? (don't we all...) Great to see you. Yes, indeed, there was a TV show and the fandom/community to go with it (my goodness, the things you people remember!), but also a ton of other life stuff and assorted big and small changes. Also, I'm officially middle-aged now! 8)

As far as I can tell, ‘indie’ decks are more of a thing and the ‘new deck frenzy’ seems to have shifted to Facebook groups. I like a forum format for discussion though and this is a good space for it. :)

It's an interesting development! I try to stay away from FB, and don't mind staying away from the "new deck frenzy," too.
