Hi all  X/

I'm a strong Bible-believer, and this morning I thought of that. A bit after I looked at some old readings in my tarot journal, when I came to think: Is it wrong to be a christian and work with tarot?

Then I thought a clear "no" since I felt a overwhelming presence of The Holy Ghost in my heart. (it's a very special feeling, hard to describe - I think the best description would be that it feels like my heart chakra have taken a strong mint).

It made me wonder - what tarot card would be The Holy Ghost?

Personally I'm landing on The Fool, Ace of Cups or 6 of cups.

I would think the most powerful card in the deck would be most reflective of the Holy Spirit. For me, this is Judgement.

I’m not a Christian so this will be based on my own religious or spiritual framework. But to me, Spirit is not represented as one of the archetypes - its the energy in the deck itself; from the trees that the cards are made of, as well as from the energy of the air and from you as you shuffle them. In my view, Spirit and divinity is a part of everything and everyone, at all times. The tarot would then be a depiction of the different manifestations of spirit, but not of Spirit itself. Not sure if this made much sense, its hard to explain!

I wouldn't think any individual card did.

l have a friend who is wrestling at the moment with should he continue to do mediumship work or pursue the Christian way of life.  All gifts and talents are God-given, its how you use them that matters.

For me l find the Ace of Cups can be very loving, peaceful and healing, depending of course who you are reading for.  l get comfort from this card so l agree with your thoughts Koblo on this one.

Like FCP mentioned the Judgement card is another very spiritual card, which also gave me lots of peace when grieving for my little dog Bonny.

l had asked my tarot for some comfort and this card came up, it says it all.

It is from the Legacy of the Divine tarot.

I have that deck!

I believe in omens, and seeing this deck made me think I should change deck that I use for reading from Black Cats Tarot to Legacy.

My mother call's it "changing diet" :-)

Thank you!

I like Raggydolls answer.

I believe Tarot is all about the divinity. But what's great about Tarot is the openness of beliefe and faith.

Your welcome Koblo!  Change of diet is good  :)

l also found the 4 Wands in the Legacy another comfort.  l see the stream of water flowing down upon the fire of emotions very apt.  And the countryside ready for one to explore anew with the canopy of spiritual light giving protection from above with lighter and gentler energies  coming into being.  It is such a peaceful scene and makes one ready to invite friends and family to enjoy.

"Ace of Cups" for the "Love" of God... "God has poured out His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us." Romans 5:5

but I see the "High Priestess" as the "Wisdom" of God... "We have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. And this is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom, but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words." 1 Corinthians 2:12-13
