May talk the tarot cards at you like a person?

I mean with that very often the cards screams at me "Don't be crazy"/"I guess/believe (hierophant) it's hard for him (ten of wands) not look at you (two of swords). Have you wondered about it? I think some energy may be like a person at you and use the cards just only as one or a few word(s) in read.

In that case it is a self doubt i bet every new tarot reader goes through. Nay reader in general like mediums and pyschic. Some self doubt talk you will hear..

The dpubts lessen over time but for me never really go away.. so i rely onfeedback to make sure my readingsaare consistent,  so i don't go aroun thinking i am i am the king of the tarotreaders. I look for little misses, or cracks.. so i kerp accurate tally of hits.

 

I do think you are perhaps high in clairadience

Which if you raise vibrations ground self. Your recieving talk will raise above self doubt to actual messages.

 

For me as tarot readers read differntly ,sometimes i see cards and the information starts to flow like dictation.

Yet it took a while to build up to that.. so it will come for you.

Sorry for my english, but the point of this question is that if the tarot cards can talk you in quotes? I guess some answers are huge and every card needs to be read as obvious. But sometimes are some answers very simple and short as quotes as the tarot talk at you like some person (in quotes).

Sometimes the cards can at times just give you the facts without needing to go into big detail.

It depends on your questions and what you are asking the tarot.  And yes it is like talking to a person, the cards are your friend after all.

Tarot can do anything, really. Maybe not for everyone, but I don't let other people's limitations define my life, and nor should anyone let mine affect theirs!

 

I do chat with my cards! Here's an example that I posted to my blog a while back -

 

 

“I’m too tired to read,” I whined, shuffling my Faerie’s Oracle. “Tell me a story, instead."

 

The reply was a wave over my consciousness, soft and gentle and warm, a tropical ocean on a still day. It wasn’t words, but communication, ideas, that my brain automatically translated into language.

 

"A story?” The Faun asked. “I know many stories. I am all of the stories. I even know the story of tonight, the story of you now making this choice.”

 

“Oh, not that one. This moment isn’t worth a story. Besides, I’m too sad to make a choice today. Please, just tell me any story.”

 

“Sweet girl, young thing. Don’t so easily throw away your moments.”

 

“Hardly young. Sweet is also debatable.”

 

“Very young. You still have a body.”

 

“You’re stalling. Why do you not want to tell me a story?”

To add: In your first post you mention The hierophant, that is a spiritual card. The 10 Wands is telling you not to overburden yourself with too much learning all at once.  Two Swords can mean you could come to a stalemate or have to compromise.

For me, a huge part of it is of the deck is "activated" or not. Like, I see my decks as housing spirits, so it makes sense that they would talk, and that different versions of the same deck would have very different vibes!

 

I've picked up other people's decks and tried to read with them someone and gotten nothing from them, they are just a deck of cards, not alive, and been like "wtf?" because the feeling is just so different! Plus then I have to rely on base knowledge of card meanings for the reading and that's just no fun for me! I have had some people who are sensitive to energy handle one of my decks, then one of theirs and beg me to "wake theirs up" lol!

 

There's was once that a girl wasn't connecting with a deck, one that I had wanted for years, and she offered it to me, and I did the process of inviting in an oracle spirit, who had this... Attitude. Like "finally! I've been so cramped in there! Wait, who are you? You're not my owner!" and so of course I gave her right back, and the reader was so excited and did a reading for herself that brought her to tears. She went through the entire process of "it TALKED! Am I crazy? Can you hear it? It literally spoke to me!" That's like one of my favourite tarot memories <3

Yes, me too - I definitely feel that my Wildwood deck has a specific personality, and I do have conversations with it. When it's going well, I draw a card, and the meaning does indeed appear to me in words - and often with an attitude as well! That's not to say that this initial answer is everything they want me to know; usually I also have a sense of that being the pithy response, but to really understand I'll be needing to look into the details. And there is always a lot more to read into them, when that feeling appears.

    This is something that I've had a sense of for a while, but has been growing rapidly since developing a new style of reading. Most of the time, now, I don't work out the spread in advance. I have my question, and I draw two or three cards to represent the answer to it, which will highlight several aspects but perhaps won't be clear. I'll then build on that by asking as many additional questions as I feel I need, building into a full spread. It really is like a conversation, and the cards behave as a person in response. Like a normal conversation, you need to make sure your questions are sensible, and different - it does no good to ask exactly the same thing again if you don't like or understand the first answer (that would be a 'clarifier', which I'm really not keen on). At least with my Wildwood, the deck will let me know if it's getting irritated... but I always try to treat it with respect, so that very rarely happens now. 

 

Anyhow, it's highly recommended if you've never tried this approach and want to develop your relationship with your deck.  :)

I honestly couldn't tell you what energy or essence YOU are talking to. Like I said, with me, it's an external spirit that I've called into the deck. Others may feel that it is their guides, angels, a deity, their higher self or just their subconcious being given a voice. It's all in your practice, your beliefs, and so that is something you'll have to discover and define for yourself!

I would tend to think it's to do with your relationship with the deck - how you respond to the images, how you get on with the system if you follow it.

 

But yes, I've had conversations with my decks while doing readings. Been having one on and off in my head since last night when I decided to do a reading right before bed. Don't need the deck in front of me to be having the conversation!

Yep! Three nines came up then I drew two from a different deck which just made me go  ??? The whole thing along with the rest of the cards started off a conversation that I wasn't ready to finish so despite desperately needing to go to bed so I carried it on in my head.

 

With the two extra there were 11 cards in total, so plenty for them to say. I think I must be quite visual with my imagination so I can 'see' the reading as long as I can remember which cards were in it and just carry on.
