McFaire Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 I received the LoS Anima Antiqua version of the Sola Busca deck today (found a decent price online for an unopened copy) and was surprised to discover it is not the original artwork. I looked around on the forums here but haven't seen this discussed. So I suppose the new museum quality deck coming out from LoS this summer must not be the original art either. It is a superb copy apparently painted in the 19th century. The artist must have been a professional forger. It's astonishingly good. (Not the cheesy on e from about 20 yeas ago!) Has anyone been discussing this?
AJ-ish/Sharyn Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 no one else? I want this deck, but think I missed my window of opportunity to get it?
gregory Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 The new one comes out this summer - with the original art. There's a thread on carto about it, too, with info I got from Lo Scarabeo. http://cartomancy.forumotion.com/t12515-new-unknown-sola-busca-on-amazon
AJ-ish/Sharyn Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 Good news then, for me. I did hunt here for awhile to see if I could find some news but I'm not a very good hunter. Happy dancing!
