Do you have any favorite podcasts or youtubers? I've only really watched Kelly-Ann Maddox, and love her channel dearly, but would love some suggestions. Anything really educational/thought provoking with some meaty content.  :D

Hmm.. I am a sucker for deck walkthroughs (I am a somewhat apprehensive little greedy goblin for decks after all) so there are a few of them in the library of these youtube-users, but also a lot of other stuff that you might appreciate.

I like Kelly from thetruthinstory on youtube for deck walkthroughs. She does a lot of other stuff but if I wanna see a deck before I buy it she has a lot of what's on my wishlist. I haven't checked out too much of her other videoes sadly as I've mostly been in a goblin mood when visiting her channel.

Sacred Seed has a lot of interesting videoes on both tarot and spirituality. She has a huge collection of historical decks that made me interesting in historical tarot.. but I must admit I haven't made much progress in that area of tarot yet.

Cuilfaen hasn't uploaded a lot in a while but I like her too for the deck walkthroughs and showing off some deck modifications.

Tarot by Ania is also one of my favourites. The sound is a bit low on her videoes but I appreciate her thoughts on tarot and spritual/woo things. She's Swedish so it's nice to have a scandi neighbour on youtube to watch.

Hmmm ... oddly enough, though I watch several things on youtube, I've never watched any of the Tarot channels. Thanks for starting this thread Melissa, I will have to check some of these out.

The ongoing Fortune's Wheelhouse podcasts about symbolism in the RWS and Thoth decks are my happy place. They're fun and informative beyond the basics.

It's free (legitimately) at places like player FM.

I listen on Patreon where they have great accompanying info posts, but I believe to listen right there, you need to be a supporter of $1 an episode or more. (Very much worth it, I think, for all MM Meleen and Susie Chang's insights, time, and effort!)

Thothies would definitely love this one. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Just a heads up to all Thothies (and any Tarot entusiast, really) who loved Meleen and Chang's Fortune's Wheelhouse podcasts. They finished their series on the majors in early November last year. Finally, after a hiatus of almost two months, the series resumed again last week with the Ace of Wands. I just downloaded my copy, and I'm so excited to listen to it. ;D

So yeah, go grab yours now. :)

I'm going through my list of subscriptions and there's a LOT there, but it's everything - music, hair, makeup, old movies, dog training, the works - so I might be missing a few here.

Sacred Seed and Truth In Story for deck walkthroughs, as someone already mentioned.

Paul Hughes-Barlow, of course.

Andy Boroveshengra says he's going to do some videos, so I'm watching for that.

That's about it.

Most of my favorites have already been mentioned but I rarely see anyone talk about Tarot living. That has been such an informative channel for me to watch, I really agree with her take on most cards and I just love all her series (she also talks a lot about court cards and astrology, which I always find interesting)

I also adore Katey Flowers, she just feels like and 'old soul' and has lots of powerful insights and experiences to share.

Benebell Wen has a channel now. It's pretty good.  :D

Paul Hughes-Barlow, of course.

Excellent recommendations, katrinka! Benebell Wen's channel has lately focused on other stuff tho, so I hope she would add more Tarot videos soon.

Paul Hughes-Barlow is highly recommended for Thothies, but he has not added to his YouTube channel for years now. He has lately been active in his  SuperTarot website tho, so be sure to check that out.

Just to add to the recommendations here:

One of the best ever YouTube channels I've ever learned from is by John Ballantrae. If I'm to monetize all the knowledge a reader can glean from his site it would run to the hundreds of dollars - it's that good. Mad props to the gentleman.

If you're a Thothie, the YouTube channel by DavidH071 is one of the most informative ones on the deck, by far. Make sure to check out and save his video notes in his Esoteric Meanings website. Also, he has already begun his series on the RWS. My only complaint is that he takes too long to produce videos lol.

Our tastes are similar.  I’m on my IPad now but have a few more recommendations to add later.

EmpyreanKnight[/member] I like John also.  He has a few vids on how to do yes/no readings that are good.

Speaking of YouTube channels - all the best to you when you launch yours, SaturnCeleste. :D

Btw, I just noticed that one of the best YouTube channels on the Thoth, Polyphonic Tarot by Nick Potorium, has been deleted now. I'm sure that I just watched it a few months ago, so he must have removed it only recently. It's sad, but I'm glad I saved some of his vids.

His website is still up, tho it says it's under construction. Maybe he plans to relaunch his channel some time in the future.

Thank you so much Empyrean!  I have been making a lot of videos lately.  I'm in the middle of doing 7 readings (I only have 2 left now) and I've made a point to make videos with them.  I made one a week or so ago and realized how much practice I need!  I'll be concentrating on my Decks; reviews, favorites and discussions along with a few instructional vids.  One of the first ones I'll start out with is the Mantegna game.  I'm really excited about doing that one!

Some of the YouTubers I subscribe to are:

Alexandra Vivite Somnia

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnrDTl2XF8GEtU8avjpgunA

She is one out of 3 readers that I might watch a reading for myself.  I rarely do but if I want to look into the month, I'll go to Alexandra.

Nicholas Ashbaugh

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCio_A3reqrvISsXBmX0M6cA

This is the second reader I will actually check in and view his reading for Aquarius.  Between him and Alexandra and Lisa (below) I feel I get the truth in tarot and astrology.

Lisa Diviney Astrology & Tarot

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8q-FqMGjegJsPNT-po53wg

This is the third reader I will turn to for a currant Aquarius reading.  This woman is a powerhouse!  If you like astrology with your tarot (I do) check her out.

Tarot Map

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3XC1LuSSRc0Q9X-0uD3Y7w/featured

Kasia is awesome!!  I love her spontaneous readings of cards she just throws down.  Her videos are always fascinating and I really enjoy her channel.  She is a must watch in my book!

Intuitive Tarot for Unique Souls

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyLzc9869JOPTNSYVxrEgDA/featured

I like this guy and tune into him once in awhile.  I will view an old reading of Aquarius from him because I love his style.

Angelo Nasios

https://www.youtube.com/user/AngeloNasios/featured

He makes really interesting, informative videos.  I check in with him often.

Shy Fox

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCD2_prRtZLrqAkKNr164y6g

This is an awesome woman!  I have corresponded with her and love her style.  She does unusual vids and a must to check in with every so often!  Her plants are gorgeous! :D

Owl Moon

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgo-xta2uhayMg7Yk0XKSBw

I'm not sure what name she's going by now but I love her videos.  She is a practicing witch and always adds a wonderful touch of witchcraft into her videos.  I don't watch her regularly because her schedule changes but when I'm on her page, I binge watch to get caught up with everything I've missed.

Sacred Seed, Ethony, Avalon, John Ballantree, Daily Tarot Girl, The Truth in Story are all channels I subscribe to also.  I love their videos and tarot discussions but don't follow their readings.  There are so many more but I think this is enough! lol ;)

Kudos for exploring rarely-discussed topics, SaturnCeleste!

I've always adored Lo Scarabeo's metallic decks, and while I find the Mantegna, their only all-silver offering, eminently agreeable, it has not spurred the same enthusiasm in me as its siblings. I guess it's because it has only 50 cards, altho if I look at it in another way, it does make for a lovely oracle deck. In any case, maybe this vid would change my mind and enable me. :)

Just downloaded their Two of Wands episode so yeah, as with the majors, this seems like a weekly thing. It's made me so very interested in Meleen's Rosetta and Tabula Mundi Colires Arcus decks that I know it's not a matter of whether I'm eventually going to buy her decks or not - it's just a question of when. I guess I've fallen for them.

I've only recently started to watch YouTube channels (and by recently, I mean since August), but I've amassed a pretty nice selection so far.  I'll try to list people that haven't been listed yet (but I make no promises because there have been so many so far!)

Spread This, Witches (and their solo channels, Avalon Cameron, Allorah Rayne, and Chase Two Owls)

Jennifer's Garage (not the full name but I'm blanking on that)

Thrifty Mystic

Tom Benjamin

Cape cod Creatures

Space between the Notes (new channel, but I think it'll be interesting to see where it goes)

Wayward Sun

Patrick J Fogarty

Tarot Alchemist

Fables Den

Jesse Huntenberg

Jeff Burr (also a new channel that's connecting tarot to hypnotherapy)

Brian Cormack Carr

The Tiger's Abyss

Ragged Poet

Veronica Jude

Some lean more towards spirituality with some focus on tarot, but for the most part they all have some pretty good content!
