Parahelia Circle Aka Sun Dog

After not having seen this phenomenon for over 30 years, this is the third one this week in my area (NE Ohio). What does it mean? What’s coming? I know there’s a scientific explanation, but... Beautiful colors, which you can’t see in the picture. And the sky is a lot darker inside the circle than out. Odd.

"A halo around the moon means rain will come soon" (that was a saying I was brought up with).

It could be the same for the sun as it's caused somehow by the light going through really high cirrus clouds which tend to come before storms.
