MoonGypsy Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 i asked Dan for a tracking number, and he sent it to me! My package is on the truck for today's delivery! Yay! Can't wait to see what they've done to correct the problems. Wondering if they will still have the black edges.

More Good News! i received my replacement package a little while ago, and as far as i can see thus far...it looks really good! The major change is the edging. They replaced the black with a very glitzy Silver. i actually do like it. i think the silver actually looks better with this particular borderless deck. The first edition with the black borders, looked great when i edged it in black... But i am happy with the silver. Some of the cards did stick a wee bit, but nothing major...they were quite easy to separate without any damage. i hope all of your replacement decks arrive soon, and i hope they will be perfect! i will be curious to hear your take on it. i could try and take some pics later, if you'd all like me to....xox Edited August 27, 2019 by MoonGypsy

Astraea Posted August 28, 2019 Posted August 28, 2019 I can't bear gilded edges, I'm so disappointed they didn't stick with black. But considering the production problems with the first batch of the 2nd edition, they must have had good reasons for changing.

My factory black-edged copy is fine and separates fine except for a damaged King of Pentacles (which was already creased when the box was opened).

Mine was fine except for the edges, where the gilding basically peels every time you shuffle.
