Barleywine Posted June 26, 2019 Posted June 26, 2019 Many of you know that I like to create intricate spreads with lots of detail that ideally still hang together in a logical way. Here is a problem-solving spread (at its heart a two-option scenario) that uses elemental temperaments in a novel way to point out the most advantageous solution. It consists of two three-card chains, a "quint" card for each chain, and four "background" cards that influence and modify the quint cards through Elemental Dignity. ย https://parsifalswheeldivination.com/2019/06/26/the-hot-and-cold-running-commentary-problem-solving-spread/
Raggydoll Posted June 26, 2019 Posted June 26, 2019 Wonderful! This is the stuff we all recognize and love you for! So glad to have you here to share your brilliance with the rest of us โค๏ธ
AngelSeer Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 Nice! ^_^ ๐ I love the idea of this spread! Will really help us assess the four elements/aspects of our lives! ๐

Eric13 Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 @Barleywineย Can you please define what you mean by your "quint" cards. I have my assumptions, but that could be wrong. (And not Quint from Jaws!) Thank ahead of time.ย
Barleywine Posted July 3, 2019 Author Posted July 3, 2019 (edited) It would probably be best if you read my blog post on the subject first, and then we can go from there. (There is a text attachment that will most likely go to your "downloads" file when you try to open it.) ย https://parsifalswheeldivination.com/2017/08/01/the-quintessence-sub-quintessence-and-grand-quintessence/ Edited July 3, 2019 by Barleywine
Eric13 Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 I see. Helps explain things I wasn't quite understanding. Thank you.

Itโs when you randomly pull a card and squint at it. Whatever details or symbols you think you can make out are then interpreted intuitively. What do you think? Will the world of tarot reading ever be the same after this revolutionary method? โบ๏ธ๐โค๏ธ

For example, a lot of the Thoth Wands are red and orange. You could get an elemental "flavor" for the reading without considering any of the individual card meanings. And yes, I know you weren't being serious even if I am. ๐

Sometimes when I do a large spread I will take a step back and look at it from the side and from a distance. Just to expand my perception. It really works! Scanning or squinting at a spread will surely work too.ย
