I'm new, nice to meet you all!! 💜 I'm still somewhat of a rookie to divination as i've only been practicing for just over a year, and I am in a particular religious household and am barred from practicing here, but i'm working on figuring out new places to go to practice! I came here to find advice and support, and make new friends!! I'm excited to get involved with like-minded people! 💜 I'm very, very friendly, so don't be shy!

Great to meet you 😁 not sure if this could be an option for you but you could always try out a Tarot app until you find a place you can practice. There's some really good ones out there (I have a few myself) there's even a few decks with their own apps 😊

I too am at the beginning of my journey into tarot, though I have been dabbling for years. My main experience of reading for others is on a forum (unrelated to tarot). I find my readings help people to their situation more clearly and work out their best way forward. I have never charged for readings. Look forward to seeing you around.

Oh yes, I have and use multiple tarot apps on my phone! however it doesn't quite feel the same, or as intuitive! :0c I might look around more though!!! I don't think i'll ever charge for readings, either, something about that rubs me the wrong way (not that it's bad or anything, just not for me!) Excited to see all of you guys around!! ❤️
spider Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 Hello Charging for readings! I would do so, but that would involve advertising etc etc and then so much pressure. Maybe oneday I will pluck up the courage and go for it. For now my "payment" is positive feedback. Reading on line is perfect for me as I can take my time and even - shock horror - look up meanings of cards during a reading without looking a complete charlaton!! Look forward to chatting more

There's heaps of little things you can find out about the RWS deck through that plus it has a cool widget which displays your card of the day. The Fools Dog apps are really good to test out decks before you buy them and also good if you already own the deck but don't like taking a physical deck out and about with you. Mystic Mondays and Golden Thread are pretty good too, and the Labyrinthos apps are quite good too
