22 Weeks of The Spiritkeeper - Week 8

Starting this week's topic so it's here for all!

 

I'm actually on holiday this week, so though I've pulled the weekly forecast cards (did it on Saturday before I left!) I've not sat down with them yet. I'll pop in later and add the picture of the cards, plus my thoughts about them.

 

EDIT: Aargh, I've just realised I've named it differently to the other weeks! That's going to irritate me...I'm Aquarius Sun but Virgo Rising, and the Virgo in me ain't happy 😞

The Seeker - The Angel - Sacred Fire

The Seeker here represents a quest for knowledge. It will be a week of seeking answers to spiritual questions. Coupled with The Angel, it could be that my focus is on becoming my best self. If I was always in touch with my higher genius, what could I achieve? Have I been neglecting my intuition and those little signs and omens? I probably have...things have been so fraught at work that I’ve just about been able to keep my head above water. Not much time for thinking higher thoughts! This week it would be good to focus more on the spiritual. Sacred Fire will hopefully help kindle that desire and help me forge ahead.

 

Hexagram is number 14 - Accolades/Great Praise:

 It seems quite pertinent to the appearance of the Angel this week. Especially: You have the resources needed to achieve supreme success and prosperity. To thrive, follow your own path and, most important of all, let others follow theirs.

I haven't done much with this week's forecast, but here are my cards:

 

 

Given that I'm doing this after the fact, it's fair to say this is more of a review than a forecast. 

 

I travelled safely and well, was sad to leave...and was granted an extra day by virtue of a cancelled return flight 😂 Thank you, The Angel! I used my last day beautifully and made a few promises to myself on the back of it, so I feel very blessed. The week away was a turning point, as expected. As indicated through various other posts, I left my job of ten years a few weeks ago and spent the summer holiday so far in a really weird place: happy to have left but deeply unconvinced by my future plans 🤣🤣. I've been second- and triple-guessing myself a thousand times over, and feeling generally pretty rubbish about everything.

 

Not anymore! Thats energy of The Necromancer. I generally read Key 18 as an indication that something I think is true, isn't. After this week, I realise it also tells me that something that was hidden or ignored will now make itself known. Something I'd been sitting on, repressing, not daring to admit to myself...well, I've admitted it. Now I need to dare do that which I'm afraid of. 

 

All this being the case, I'm not surprised to see New World Order here in the spread. I've gotten this card a lot over the last few weeks and it's indicative of the major changes that have come about, and the major changes to come. The world is my oyster, if only I'm willing to dive in and have a go. 

 

The I Ching for the week is Earth/Earth: Supportive Power. Here's where the message of the Moon is clarified: in the beginning, there is darkness and confusion. Yet deep in that darkness, attainment waits. Be content and at peace with what you possess.

 

Yes. I was extremely content and at peace all week. I loved being away, I loved the city I was visiting. It was perfection.

For the time being, I am struggling to keep up with daily tasks at SKT. It becomes difficult when RL has challenges beyond regular days. First, today, Tuesday, I've had the opportunity to do my weekly forecast, but here it is:

I don't have so many comments on the cards right now. These are good cards so hopefully I have something positive to report when the week is over.

 

Incidentally, I notice that I, like both YlvaBlue and Flaxen, pulled The Angel. That's kind of strange that all of us so far have drawn this card in week 8.

Yeah, last week had different changes and clarifications in my life in several areas; love, leisure time, work, and an old friend back in my life. The cards were good.
