Barleywine Posted August 22, 2019 Posted August 22, 2019 (edited) Here is a spread I intend to use to measure the accuracy of prediction with the cards over an extended period of time. Its more obvious purpose is outdoor event planning. https://parsifalswheeldivination.com/2019/08/22/weather-or-not-an-event-planning-spread/ Edited August 22, 2019 by Barleywine
Ix Chel Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 (edited) I would like to forecast the weather. I have the feeling that there are more weather cards. By example based on RWS: The Tower can mean a storm. 3 of Swords stands for rain (there is rain visible on this card). 5 of Pentacles and the Hermit stands for snow. 10 of Cups beautiful weather (all the figures are standing outside on a sunny day). Barleywine Posted August 23, 2019 Author Posted August 23, 2019 I thought about adding more detail, but I was trying to "normalize" it along the lines of a scientific weather forecast for the purpose of long-range comparison to actual weather conditions. If my model shows cloudy weather I could always pull another card (or cards) to indicate the level of severity. But that's probably putting too fine a point on what I'm trying to do. Plus, I was basing it on the Thoth deck, which has no human figures on the pips and mainly conveys mood.
