Hello everybody! 

I'm a novice tarot reader. I got my first deck at the beginning of July. I know this sounds weird but I feel like my deck chose me as I really didn't want to get into tarot as there seemed so much to learn and I already was getting quite deep into astrology. I was browsing a shop in the book section looking for an interesting read and I saw the English Magic Tarot and I got this feeling in my stomach like when you meet someone you know you're goin to get on so much trouble with. I tried to talk myself down from buying them and tried to walk out of the shop but found myself buying them and it's been a big adventure since. 

I'm here because there's challenges with this gift. I'm scaring myself a little with how accurate it's been even from the very first reading (although at the time I had no idea what I was looking at I ready through my diary and got floored) 

I'm so glad to be here and I hope I can contribute to this forum too

Great to meet you! Tarot can be a very powerful and potent tool, and the accuracy can indeed be a bit confronting. But you'll get used to it, I think. I look forward to interacting with you more in the future!

Hey, @Akimbo! I've been reading regularly for a full year now, and I'm new to the forum as of today... what you wrote reminds me SO much of my first experiences. I'd love to talk with you about them/reading! I know there's so much depth to this, and I think it helps having people at different yet similar levels working together. As @Ninalii said, you can have read for a very long time and still be new 🙂 welcome!
